Willie Lynch was a slave owner who claimed that slaves could be controlled easier by pitting them against each other based on skin color and age. Acey is suggesting that if a black man writes a song that challenges or degrades other blacks, then it will sell. This is because he believes that record labels run their businesses like Willie Lynch would: by having their workers fight against each other to degrade them so the label heads don’t have to.

“Droppin' it like it’s hot” means to grind/twerk on the dancefloor and is a reference to Snoop Dogg’s song of the same name. This is an example of a song that objectifies women and that the billionaires that Acey references would probably approve of. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtUVQei3nX4

The objectification of women has always been a big problem in America, but ignorant music has made it even worse. Acey is claiming that another reason why wealthy whites back up ignorant rappers is to make women feel objectified when they are referred to as “bitches” and to make black women think of themselves only as accessories to men. If we taught young women about self-empowerment, then Acey thinks this problem could be solved and women would be more confident.

Acey claims that the wealthy support record labels that hire ignorant rappers only because it will result in tarnishing the black race’s image. Also, they do this to spread the rappers' ignorant messages across the world, that way black children will look up to them and become as ignorant as they are!

Back in the mid 1800s to mid 1900s, blackface was a huge staple in the comedy world. People would line up to see blacks degraded and portrayed as ignorant. Nowadays, people line up to see their favorite rappers portray blacks as ignorant. The only difference between then and now is that back then, almost all blacks opposed this portrayal and kept their integrity. Now, a lot of blacks support this portrayal by supporting cash-rap and thus help encourage racism. Obviously not ALL rappers encourage racism though, there are a lot that oppose it. Hell, Big KRIT even made a song about it.

Acey thinks that rich white kids are the reason why the intelligence of rap has declined in the 2000s. He claims that since the only people who can afford to buy a bunch of CDs are rich-white-kids, and all they want to hear is violent rap to rebel against their families, the music industry praises violence and discourages intelligence because of them.

Money comes and goes, but your dignity doesn’t. After awhile, you’ll get used to being wealthy. If you acted ignorant and kissed ass to become wealthy, you’ll eventually start to miss your dignity. Or at least Acey hopes you will.
