i have to agree ive been in a bad place for about a year and i started listing just recently alot and now im getting alot better. the music is so good and insperational that it really does help. Watsky pushed eminem out of the way and is my favorite artist

There is actually a more literal meaning the Watsky himself revealed on a Watsky Wednesday. The image came to him from his tour bus driver (who was an obese man) crowd surfing. He literally looks like a cannonball being held up by flimsy daisies (the people in the stands)

you are literally the reason I’m alive right now. as I type this I’m smiling so hard because of i just. there are no words to describe how amazing it is to really listen to your music. it puts me in a state of happiness and aesthetic like no other

I’ve been going to doctors for about 2 years now. therapy all my life. and I am so tired of having to try a drug and then detox. it’s a waste pf my time. i could be gone by now honestly. it’s been about a year and a month since my last hospital visit but I mean. I have the brain power to control myself i just choose not to sometimes. hell, I wonder what I’d be like if I’d gotten a doctor when i actually needed one rather than 5 years later. geez let’s see i’ve been on i think the first one was prozac and that made things so much worse so i detoxed and started lexapro and that was okay and so i kept going up on tyhat but detoxed a few months ago and during lexapro i was on abilify, hydroxyzine, and the most dangerous was respirdol, it fucked up my hormones and made my body think i was pregnant so my cycle stopped and i began to lactate ( i was 14 at the time). so now i’m detoxed off of all three of those and i’m now moving on to buispirone and busproprion. along with biotin for weight gain side effects and a ton of other vitamins. i also have a perscription for 550mg of naproxen to help with migraines from detoxing. i’m tired of this shiiiittt

Thanks for sharing this my fellow avid musician. Same here. I take lamotrigine (Lamictal) and I don’t particularly enjoy it. But also, I really don’t like landing myself in jail for a while because of an accidental manic episode from a condition I didn’t know I had. Being ADD and Bipolar is nothing I asked for, but thankfully it can be used as a conduit for healthy and therapeutic music making. 😊 After I get my Grammies, and Oscars and shit, lol but sincerely I’d like to write and record music specifically designed to be used for trauma survivors and those brave sould battling addiction with everything they have. Maybe we can help pave new neural pathways and “rewire” toxic brain chemistry. 👍🤘

god, you’re so amazing. I struggle a lot with people my age because of this mindset that I’m in, which is very relative to your music, and it’s so weird being alive. Like, I feel like I’m high all the time when I begin to even try to think of what reality is, but then I look down the hall and see people twerking on the ceiling and I remember. THIS SHITTY PLACE IS REALITY.
