On “Want You Back” Fabolous and Joe Budden direct their thoughts to the women they have left behind, knowing that they will now regret leaving the rappers. The song samples Dionne Warwick’s 1973 single “You’re Gonna Need Me”

Usher had earlier picked a similar beat for his song “Throwback,” produced by Just Blaze.

ASAP Rocky is a celebrity and If you stand next to him, most of the time, people will believe you’re famous as well.

In turn, if you fuck him – fucking a star – it would make you famous (kind of like the age-old Kat Stacks epidemic that plagued the industry).
But really just think of it as the Overnight Celebrity effect.

Here, Rocky claims to have been an outcast his whole life, so he decides to rap in a style similar to that of André 3000 – one half of OutKast.

This line (and A$AP Ferg’s about Big Boi) links to Rocky originally wanting OutKast to be featured on the song. When that wasn’t able to happen, Gunplay was added along with A$AP Ferg. As what can only be thought of as a tribute, both Rocky and Ferg did their best to rap as André 3000 and Big Boi, respectively.

The Lastchild was born and raised in South Providence R.I. (Washington Park) on September 19, 1986. Laschild is a first- generation American born to Dominican parents and is the youngest of 4 children.
He was introduced to hip-hop (golden era) at the very young age of 7. His older brother True was a big influence; as well as the RZA from Wu Tang Clan. Growing up he always wanted to chill with his older brother and friends. They formed a production team of 3 producers. One day he finally got to chill with P.N.R (phases-n-reality) and was hooked.
“Just sight of all the old vinyl I seen in there studio got me hook. I watch how they loop a sample on 12sec Gemini mixer and thought that was the craziest thing ever”.
When he turned 13, he joined P.N.R. becoming the youngest producer in the group. This is where the name LastChild came from.
From that moment on music became my passion. The more I dig for records and was exposed to new sounds the better I got. I used to make about 10 beats a day on a demo program on my pc, because the program was a 30 day free trial I had to reinstall it every month. My pc broke in 2003 and I lost a majority of my beats. Also I lost a best friend at the same time, I felt like the world was going to end I took a break to focus on school and work. I saved some money and decided to get back into producing in a major way, so I decided to get an mpc2000xl. I went to the store and saw an mpc1000, so I figured I give it a try. I was hooked once again. No in a world where it’s so easy to be a producer with all new technology it’s crazy. I’m glad I was introduced to producing at a young age when it was all about 1200’s technique and a MPC or a SP1200, because of this my sound is unique.

Probably a shot at Interscope for dropping him from the label, but he’s saying not to just drop him. He wants them to throw him out like Phil did Jazz in the Fresh Prince.

In the same light, Jazz always managed to get back. So Charles will always come back, but he wants them to “Talk to [him]” and let him know what’s wrong, aka breaking his fall.
