“Sensei” (先生) is a Japanese honorific term that is literally translated as “person born before another.” In disciplines such as martial arts, it is generally a term of respect meaning “teacher.”

@BrianErwin The Quavo/Huncho stuff is pretty common (see here, for example, from “Cocoon”); his Twitter handle is, after all, QuavoHuncho. I agree that the references to Japanese culture are interesting, but they are also sometimes tone deaf to other concerns. Since Huncho is a commonly occurring nickname for Quavo in Migos music, it seemed less directly relevant here.
