i never perform this part live, cuz it just gets too long, but this is like the twistedest part of the song. i’m an actor too, and most of my money comes from acting. i’ve paid all my bills by being the face of national corporations in over 35 national commercials. just a few of them are named off right here. === === === so this problem i’m complaining about, that i’m ironically commenting on… i’m involved in it too– it’s what puts food on my table. the bottom line is, if you’re going to make money off art– really make money off art– a corporation has to back you. there are zero rich/famous/successful creators of art that haven’t done this in some way.

This is the barest of disses against someone I know. It’s also a statement that money indicates your inherent value. It doesn’t matter your name– how much you got?
