Man, the Black Plague sure was fucking awful. Killed a lot of people. The pandemic peaked in Europe in the mid 14th century.
It reduced the world population from an estimated 450 million to between 350 and 375 million.
Dude, that’s A LOT of fucking people.

I insinuate that I would figure out the cure to the Black Plague, but not hand it out.

My original verse for this song was way longer and totally different.
Ski called and said there had been some sort of issue with the recording on my verse, I had to do it again.
Having lost the original rhyme, the choice was to either go back and listen repeatedly to the old one, write it down and do it again, or just write a whole new one.

So… I wrote a new one. Fuck it!
It’s also a nod to Sadat X’s “I could write a rhyme, rip it up and write a next one” line from “Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down.”
