Keep my shoes on the floor Brave Heart by Lupe Fiasco (Ft. Poo Bear)

This line can be interpreted multiple ways:
1. Lupe stays grounded and doesn’t let success get to his head.
2. Lupe never “jumps” to conclusions.
3. He is “the shoes”, stuck with Atlantic Records which is a metaphor for “the floor”.

Reposessors put shoes on cars that owe dues. Lupe’s previous car lines

The ‘rose’ could be referring to Derrick Rose who is from Chicago just like Lupe and he is considered a very humble and hard working player.
