The Clippers played great on the road to even up the series 2-2. Chris Paul lead his team to the win with 34 points and 7 assists and avoided fouling out despite having 5 fouls with 8 minutes left in the game. Also, Blake Griffin had 20 points to go along with 19 rebounds

Austin Rivers impressed many shooting 7 of 8 off the bench and scoring 16 points. Jamal Crawford scored 15 off the bench.

Apparently, winning when down 2-1 has not given favorable results for the Clippers over the years:

On the other side of the court, San Antonio played decently as well; Kawhi Leonard had 26 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, Tim Duncan had 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Tony Parker had 18 points.

Down 0-3 in the series, Boston wanted to get physical with Cleveland.

The result of this was an ejection and possible suspension for J.R. Smith due to a flagrant 2 foul on Jae Crowder, a dislocated shoulder for Kevin Love and a double technical on both Jae Crowder and Kendrick Perkins.

Despite all this, Cleveland managed to continue their dominance in the series, winning by 8.

Although both teams shot under 40%, this was not a low scoring affair due to a multitude of fouls on both sides. Boston had 33 fouls and Cleveland had 30.

Lebron was himself on Sunday scoring 27 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and finding his teammates for 8 assists.

Kyrie Irving chipped in 24 points and 11 rebounds.

After the game Kevin Love had plenty to say about Kelly Olynk after he dislocated his shoulder during a loose ball scramble.

This is a video of the injury. I wouldn’t recommend watching if you are easily grossed out. Love ran straight to the locker room as soon as it happened.

A double technical was assessed for the situation

Jae Crowder must have looked like a punching bag to Cleveland as they were beating him up all game after the Olynk dirty play

Crowder injured his leg on the play and did not return. J.R. Smith was ejected from the game after that.

A big thing that Cleveland will have their eye on while they wait for the Chicago and Milwaukee series to pan out is the status of Kevin Love’s shoulder. He could potentially miss the rest of the season. They will determine his status after they pop it back in (ew).

Cleveland will advance and face either the Chicago Bulls or the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls are currently leading the series 2-1.

After Game 3’s heartbreaking overtime loss, the Pelicans were pretty much eliminated from round 1 of the NBA playoffs (no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit), but they would not go down without a fight.

The sweep was Golden State’s first playoff sweep in 40 years. Anthony Davis continued his incredible postseason debut with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks in game 4. That’s pure domination. Eric Gordon shot the ball well in game 4 as well, scoring 29 points in 35 minutes.

For Golden State, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson combined to score 86 points. Curry had 39 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds and was 6-8 on 3 pointers. Green played the most minutes of anyone in the game at 42 and scored 22 points to go along with 10 rebound and 8 assists on 9-14 shooting. Thompson scored 25 on 4-7 shooting from downtown and 10-19 shooting overall.

Although on the outside it looks like the Warriors got past the Pelicans with ease, those who watched the games know that New Orleans put up a major fight every single game and it was by no means a breeze for Golden State.

The Warriors will face either the Memphis Grizzlies or the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round of the playoffs. Memphis is currently up 3-0 in the series despite being the 5th seed going against the 4th seed.

The contrast between reality (downside exists) and being high (nothing to worry about) really shows here with some clever wordplay. When Mac Miller is high he doesn’t care about any negativity coming from outside sources or any potential risks from his decisions. Mac described this feeling on his mixtape from the previous year, Macadelic.

I’m gettin' high to forget about the lows though

HOU In: Pablo Prigioni

NYK In: Alexey Shved, two 2nd round picks

HOU In: K.J. McDaniels

PHI In: Isaiah Canaan and a 2nd round pick

Though Prigioni isn’t the secondary playmaker the Rockets were looking to place alongside James Harden, he should fit in with the team’s system.

Young and talented, McDaniels helps out at the wing while his mother helps from the sidelines.

MIA In: Goran Dragic, Zoran Dragic

PHO In: Danny Granger, Justin Hamilton and two first-round picks

Although Suns owner Rob Sarver did not want to trade Dragic, the offers were too good to pass up for a player who refuses to re-sign with the team.

Goran, who becomes a free agent after this year, had a 3-team list of whom he would re-sign at. Miami was one of those teams.

Heat Nation rejoices today.

OKC In: Enes Kanter, Steve Novak, Kyle Singler, D.J. Augustin

DET In: Reggie Jackson

UTAH In: Kendrick Perkins

Reggie Jackson gets his desire to be a starting point guard granted by being traded to the Pistons. Earlier in the day, he’d been dangled to the Nets in exchange for Brook Lopez.

The Thunder’s depth and strength both improve greatly with Kanter, especially as the potential starting center as long as Steven Adams is out.
