Grammar nazi on board! You cannot say “a very great”. Now I get it that the people comming here are not only native speakers of English (who, by the way, are not always free from making language-related errors) but I assume that if a person has already decided to read as marvellous and demanding a piece of lieterature as ‘Moby Dick’ in its original form, beisdes deriving the direct pleasure from reading, they are doing it to hone their English, which is why I allowed myself to intervene and correct the comment above.
