These are lyrics from ‘Pigeon,’ so the ‘no, no, no’ means not only is this the wrong song (but also Vast’s earlier chastising himself for saying a word twice.)
In addition, Vast stopping himself reinforces the idea of evolution heavily present in the song. Much like pigeons who evolve into phoenixes, he stops doing the same thing, changes things up, and in doing so is able to progress.
