Donald played “Troy” on NBC’s comedy Community, but he announced earlier this year he’d be leaving the show after five episodes of the fifth season.

Dan Harmon is the creator and executive producer of NBC’s comedy Community, which Donald stars in and decided to leave earlier that year.

Dan called Donald his favorite cast member during his Reddit AMA:

They all have different senses of humor. I would never answer a question like this while I was over there [before I was fired] but now that I’m gone I can probably just say DONALD WAS MY FAVORITE! DONALD WAS MY FAVORITE!!!

Dan was fired from Community after it’s 3rd season. Season 4 is generally regarded by fans and critics as the show’s worst season. Due to the reviews and fan outcries, NBC brought back Dan to do season 5. Dan’s return to the show was curtailed, however, by Donald announcing that the 5th season would be his last, and he would only be doing 5 episodes. This is why he is worried Dan hates him.

Another reference to the tragic death of their friend Rodney Kyles.

What’s a mixtape to an album?

These ideas are very similar to those posited by Chance The Rapper. The Chicago artist recently told Rolling Stone he might never sell his music. He too wonders what really changes, or should change, between a mixtape and an album if the quality is no less.

There’s a widely held, probably ill-conceived, idea that a mixtape is somehow a lesser product than an album, because the latter is sold. Chance often hear’s the cry that Acid was so good it should have been sold; someone even tried to do so.

But does a retail value have any connection to the intrinsic value of art that is celebrated by consumers regardless of its price tag?
