Every time that Yonas writes, he makes art. Yonas is to rap what VanGogh was to art.
This is also a reference to how VanGogh cut off his ear and sent it to his lover. That is a passionate gesture on VanGogh’s part and Yonas is saying that his lyrics are just as passionate as that gesture.
Also, VanGogh had a very different and unique style of art, similar to Yonas' unique style of music.

Summer is the greatest of the four seasons in Yonas' opinion. Summer is simply the best in every way. Yonas views summer as above average and cleverly states this with a comparison from math class:
A popular way to find the ‘average’ is by use of the mean in mathematical terms. This is when you add the value of each variable and divide it by the number of variables. It is often times regarded as the most reliable method of finding an average.
Yonas believes that the awesomeness of summer is greater than the mean awesomeness of things in general.
