This line is constantly repeated throughout the song as Yonas wishes to reiterate the idea.

He will not sell out. He raps for his fans and loves his fans.

He will never let his fans down.

Yonas' fate is in his own hands. He can feel the pressures of choosing his career path every single day. One of these options, presumably, is selling out. However, Yonas guarantees that he could “never let us down” and that, in his opinion, the only sensible option is to keep doing what he’s been doing quite some time now.

In a strange twist of faith, Yonas is not trying to find god in this scenario. Rather, Yonas is wondering if God believes in the vision that he sees. Yonas wants the figure of all that is good to look down from Heaven and give him a thumbs up of approval for his movement and believe in what he is trying to accomplish. This concept of “God” beautifully transitions into the next verse which begins with a biblical reference.

Yonas mentions God often throughout his music apart from this song.

Arguably the most famous quote in the 2003 film Old School is “You’re my boy, Blue!”

Hoodie, by suggesting that Mike would tie the rope to his buddy, is most likely suggesting that the rope be secured around Blue’s penis as that is how the knot is tied in the movie. This further alludes to the idea of Mike being a rapist as Blue responds with “Nope” to this action and his gay nature as he’s grabbing Blue’s penis.

Also, Hoodie’s taking another shot at Mike’s party style and how he’s too old for college, as Old School is all about partying and fraternities. Blue and many of the movie’s characters are also far too old for college.

Additionally, Blue (real name unknown) is one of Mike’s best friends, and is essentially drunk 24/7 on tour.

Mike Stud is so predictable with his raps that Hoodie can tell what he’s going to say before he even says it.

Because Hoodie already knows what Mike’s gonna say, Mike has no way of defending himself. Hoodie is always one step ahead of Mike.

Hoodie is stating that he shouldn’t have even given Mike the satisfaction being dissed.

As much as Hoodie wants to tear Mike to shreds for all of the reasons he states, he doesn’t think that Mike deserves to be even mentioned by Hoodie because he is not worth it. Hoodie obviously ultimately decided to take the time and effort to write a diss for Mike in order to embarrass him.
