These girls complain about not finding the right guy, but they continue to frequent the places where they’ve experienced “heartbreak”. Hopsin suggests that they try a new way to meet the kind of guys they want.

This is an obvious extension of the previous line. The “new formula” being to stop desperately searching for guys in this “cock-thirsty” manner.

He thought he was really partying hard until he realized it was nothing compared to the guy who confronted him.

In the context of the story, this line and chorus can give you a real feeling of concern for Kendrick at this point, he’s already put his life on the line with how much he’s drinking and now someone is saying he’s barely partying.

That’s a perpetual cycle. He was influenced to drink to fit in with cool people, then now he’s over-influenced by alcohol and someone else over-influenced as well to keep drinking harder until another one comes and says that’s not enough.

His conscience is trying to bring him through this experience of getting fucked up and living afterwards. And it could be a way of saying his conscience is trying to bring him to life with this experience, and if he doesn’t heed the advice, he’ll die.

It could also be implying that his conscience is leading him to some love or sex, since four lines later he can “see the love in her eyes” and the feeling, also known as “victory?”

Since the whole song pretty much implies getting ridiculously wasted, what is one of the few goals a guy has while being wasted? Usually having sex, his conscience is trying to lead him down that path, cause he can’t do it himself.

About the first 7 lines of the paragraph. It gets really rough and his conscience intervenes. However, when it says this line, Kendrick immediately cuts across it to tell himself that if he doesn’t stop he’s doomed. It is suspicious that his conscience would talk to him comfortingly, and then mention ‘victory’, which is more of the gang violence mentality. I think the listener is supposed to realise that his conscience was the one telling him to do all these bad things. Maybe not entirely, but to him morality, friendship, family values, belonging and togetherness are all things both innate and learned, with the idea here being that if all those things can be learned, then this is what happened when those things are learnt by an impressionable kid in Compton growing up in this atmosphere and with these surroundings. He doesn’t really know what a conscience is and what it’s telling him. For example, surely if his friends care for him, then what they do must be the right behaviour to engage in. This is why eventually he interrupts and I think shouts over his conscience. With the benefit of hindsight he can view this voice differently than he did then.

I think the victory isn’t the feeling, but to successfuly overcome the temptations of alchohol and to avoid becoming addicted.

Kendrick said that this line was about buying so much liquor that you could fill a swimming pool with it.

The person speaking to Kendrick was telling him to get loads of alcohol and drink it quickly, or “dive in it.” Peer pressure can drive someone to drink more than they physically are able to.

He uses hyperbole to highlight the ridiculousness of some people’s consumption of alcohol.

On “Midwest Choppers”, the first track of the chopper trilogy, Tech N9ne featured the rapper-duo D-Loc and Dalima. It seemed like these two knew K-Dean and told him that he’s got a killer flow and would kill the next song.

The first part of the Choppers-Trilogy was Midwest Choppers, on which Tech N9ne featured D-Loc, Dalima and Krizz Kaliko. Actually, Denmark, California and New York are the places which appeared later in the future song Worldwide Choppers, where Busta Rhymes took in New York’s place and U$O, who comes from Denmark and Twisted Insane from California. So this line might have been a reference to the idea(s) of a future track…

However, with these Midwest Choppers, it looked like Tech N9ne found the fastest and most accurate (clear), fast rapping tongues until that day

Incorrect. The worldwide choppers series wasnt a trilogy, it had 4 songs. Midwest Choppers, Midwest Choppers 2, Worldwide Choppers and Speedom which was Worldwide Choppers 2 and the finale of the choppers series

People can come extremely close to being better than Nate Dogg, but can’t surpass him. They will never be original enough to be considered better than him, since he was one of the first guys to join Hip-Hop’s sub-genre G-Funk

Ab-Soul refers to Louis Farrakhan Muhammad, who is the leader of the syncretic and mainly African-American religious movement the Nation of Islam (NOI).

So he compares himself to him in case of a leader, and says that he’s just like him except his hairs…And if you’ve seen Farrakhan’s haircut;

Then you’ll see, that Ab-Soul has got curly hair, exactly the opposite of Farrakhan:
