Well, Devlin knows his geology.
“Granite is nearly always massive (lacking internal structures), hard and tough…” — Wikipedia
WATCH OUT, Devlin’s coming to steal your lunch money and enforce totalitarian rule. Okay, not really but he’s running the nation with his hot beats and hard lyrics.
Him proving that he hasn’t “gone soft for the ratings”. He’s still hardcore, okay?! Gosh, how many times does he have to tell you?
Devlin’s taking his time with his fame. There’s no need to rush so don’t think that he’s not as hard anymore or that he’s recoiling.
No other rapper/grime artist (trying to rise at the same time he is) has been able to top Devlin
This isn’t, “It’s not you, it’s me"
This is, "It’s not you, it’s US”
“#meetmeinthepark I brought fat bags of sensi!” — @MikillPane
He was mad at the world because of the terrible things in his town (see: Community Outcast). Now he feels a sense of release, something his friends in jail don’t have (literally).
