Akala uses this quote to further enhance his view that Dystopia is not fictional, but true.
Explanation of the quote:

• “War Is Peace”
  In war, having a common enemy brings unity among those who belong to each side. Therefore war does, in theory, create peace.

• “Freedom Is Slavery”
  Previously, Akala made reference to how our society worships money.
  If you don’t work, you can’t live. So in order to earn this precious commodity, we are not only expected to go out and work, we must – a process which bears similarity to colonial slavery.

• “Ignorance Is Strength”
  The majority of people do not recognise the true reality, contradictions and built in disadvantages of this Dystopia

Akala suggests we are living in.
This could be interpretted as:
1. As the majority of people are ignorant, the extent of ignorance is strong.
2. As the majority of people are ignorant, the system [which basically enslaves them] remains as strong as ever.

An excessive concern over materialistic things such as hair and designer clothing is not appealing to Akala.
As the song progresses he suggests what he does need from a woman.

Immaturity and attempts to retain a notion of masculinity has led to the widespread view that for a man to openly admit to having insecurities/faults makes them weak.
Akala has come to disregard these preconceptions he had, and admits his faults

He does not want a woman who is independent and self-reliant, and he does not want to be either.
Instead, he seeks inter-dependency

He needs substantial conversation and personality from his other half in a relationship, as appearance has temporary value.

Akala is saying that when you get to know a female when she is upright (vertically), hence without sexual relations, she can be inspiring

The country is run by the powerful, rich and elite who are born into a particular strata of society. The middle and upper class are ‘blue bloods’, who run the country, working class people do not get a look in because social mobility and meritocratic principles are nothing but myths.

Because of this, many people believe that as Britain is run by the upper classes, it serves to benefit them.
Through poor educational standards in working class areas, discrimination at jobs etc., the working class have little or no chance of ever ‘running’ the country and are kept in their place.
