Shad is questioning that maybe just trying to make people temporarily happy is not peace at all. Instead of two parties almost bribing each other to keep themselves happy, they should make amends and create peace.

The term appeasement has almost become synonomous with World War II, where world leaders tried to appease Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party, believing that there was peace, but because no one actually stopped him he invaded most of Europe.

Joell’s dealings with record labels often ended sourly. He was originally signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath record label, which he eventually departed from in 2008. He was working on signing to Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def label, but the deal fell through and caused Joell to eventually start beef with Jermaine Dupri. He released his street album, The Brick: Bodega Chronicles on Koch Records. That dealing fell through, so Joell signed to E1 Records where Slaughterhouse released their self-titled debut, but again left the label due to internal problems. He was planning on signing to SRC Records, but again the deal didn’t work out. Finally, Joell, along with his Slaughterhouse counterparts, finally signed to Eminem’s Shady Records, where they recently released their commercial debut, welcome to: Our House.

Short Version; Joell has had many label problems throughout his career, but is currently signed to Eminem’s Shady Records.

Referring back to “flux” in the title and the treatment of objects to turn into liquid, or to “flow”. This is a metaphor rhetorically asking how you come back from the negative moments in life, how much you can withstand without breaking.
