So there I was, trying to get smarter and get my grades up by literally drilling it with a knife, but I went too far and hurt myself.
The “flow vicious” bit is a shout-out to my previous nickname (FV), under which I’ve released “Who Killed JFK”. About half of it has been deleted from SoundCloud (I used MF DOOM’s beats, a lot of them and his label was on my back, sending me emails and shit), but you can still listen to it on YouTube.
I’m not a huge fan of “Who Killed JFK”. I sound too fucking angry, like I’m Vinnie Paz or something, though I was just 21 recording that in the basement of my mom’s house in Belgium. IOENO.
The other bit is a classic: “ooh, I AM LIKE DRUGS” trope you’ll find in any ol' rap.
Just a shoutout to the mixtape’s name. Also, it’s a new moniker, one I’m still getting used to.

I try to analyze myself over the next few line, a la Biggie in “Suicidal Thoughts”. I break hearts, mine and the people who love me. I don’t know about who I am and the genuineness of what I’m doing music wise.
The pepper/salt-shaker line means that I both belong to the microphone yet am extremely different from it (“it”, the “microphone” representing the game), contrasting with it like salt and pepper.
