Ghetts is probably referring to the state of mind of teenagers during the period of their life when they are going through puberty. Puberty means hormone production is higher in both males and females but for a young man, it could lead to anger and hatred towards a lot of things. It could mean you are more likely to argue with people, get into fights and take part in anti-social activities as an act of anger and rebellion. This is foreshadowing the violent lyrics that are about to appear in this freestyle that may shock people.

This refers to the vigilante “The Green Hornet” was a character created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker in 1936. The character was often shown on the television and radio. The Green Hornet is often assisted by his partner “Kato” who helps The Green Hornet fight against crime. Both the police and the general public believed them to be villains because they take the law into their own hands but they are heroes. Black Thought could be saying here that he is taking hip hop into his own hands and disposing of the bad rappers who he believes have a negative impact on hip hop.

This is a reference to the story in the bible on John 2:1-11, where Jesus turns water that he is given into wine. Here, Skyzoo also references moscato which is a type of wine. Skyzoo is not literally saying that his raps turn water into wine but he is saying that his raps are a miracle similar to the one in the bible when water gets turned into wine. He does this to amaze all the freaks following the hip hop culture to show that he is the real God of hip hop.

In the past and even in the present day, there have been people who have targeted black people in violent acts or have tried to farm black people just because of the colour of their skin. Think about the Trayvon Martin incident.
The racist people don’t know the stories behind the people they are targeting and don’t even know about their lives or even their names but they are just treated badly because they are black people living in a society where some people, to this day, remain racist.

“The Prisoner of Azkaban” refers to Harry Potter’s God-father “Sirius Black” who Harry used to believe was the man that killed his parents. However, it turns out that Sirius was not the man that killed Harry’s parents and was locked up in the prison of Azkaban for crimes that he did not commit. Harry had feared this man all of his life as he believed that he killed his parents. He spent all his life safe in the knowledge that Sirius was locked away but when he broke out of the prison, everyone was trying to stay away from him because they believed that he was a dangerous man.
