More bragging – apologies. I’m an attractive advert for teaching, in that I make it look good. This is also ‘dangerous’ because the job isn’t quite as easy as i make it look.

‘Slaloming’ is a powerful verb to evoke the ease and skill with which I (in my opinion) manoeuvre through the various trials and obstacles of teaching. I know, terribly egotistical…

I have literally experienced trainee teachers watching me teach and thinking “I can do that”. I can see it in their eyes!

The TDA regularly advertises smiley-faced teachers ‘making a difference’.

Bees get busy in April. Teachers are ALWAYS busy. (well, outside of the summer holidays anyway…)

New teachers want to be doing what I do, ie: be a great teacher. Note how I say ‘claim’ – egotistical as I am, I’m aware that my opinions are subjective.

In business, the ‘glass ceiling’ is a reference to the invisible limit that certain groups will inevitably reach. I’m basically saying that these limits are weak – we can smash through them. We’re limitless.

A well-known motivational speaker. I asked for permission to use his voice on the track, and he was gracious enough to agree. What a guy.
