Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, A-Lex, is known for his kinetic and soothing melodies with an eclectic yet artistic blend of genres. Now boasting over 508K streams across the board, A-Lex first attracted online attention in 2018 with his collaborative album series, Layers, Volume 1. The following year, he released a solo EP titled, ONE, based on his R&B roots leading with hit singles “Face,” and “Promises.”

Born Alexander Lloyd, on the Eastside of Atlanta, A-Lex was inspired by Andre 3000, Pharrell Williams, and Frank Ocean. With a natural ear for music and writing hooks to programmed sounds from a Yamaha keyboard, music chose him. After sharing his music and captivating listeners through storytelling, he took his craft more seriously. He attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and studied engineering. Later, he began recording and producing music while building his clientele.

With an extensive track record, this R&B/Hip Hop artist is no stranger to the industry. He has written and produced for Kodie Shane, T-Pain, Musiq Soulchild’s Grammy-nominated album Feel The Real, and Keke Palmer on her single “Bossy,” which premiered on Fox’s hit TV show STAR, and many others.
