About Afasi & Filthy

Afasi & Filthy was a Swedish hip-hop duo from Uppsala, Sweden composed of rapper Herbert Munkhammar (AKA: Afasi) and producer Magnus Lidehäll (AKA: Filthy). Herbert and Magnus were classmates in the same school and started performing at their school in Uppsala. In 2003 they released the EP 1990 Nånting. The title track, that included a collaboration from Snook was a success on radio that summer and charted in Sweden.

Based on this radio success, the duo signed a contract with BMG, releasing the single “Bomfalleralla”. After their major lable single, they released two mixtapes called Hotell Stress which was released in two separate volumes in 2006 and 2007. Fläcken (which was their first and only studio album) was later released in 2008 to critical acclaim. The duo continued under the name Afasi & Filthy until 2009.
