Stacey Brown (born MCMXCIV), who records under the alias Drops, is an American recording artist & songwriter..

He was born in Ocala, Florida, raised in Fort. Lauderdale, Florida and first garnered recognition for his first public released mixtape “#JNMYT (Jack N' Mack Yo Tracks!)” in which he recorded creative, aggressive and distinct verses over some of the most popular commercial records. He later started his mixtape series “#MiniMixtapeMonday” where he records his verses over the most popular commercial records and occasionally incorporates an original record for free as a treat to his fans & listeners. He released his first single “My Drank” April 25, 2014 via SoundCloud and Bandcamp.

Drops later released his debut EP “Gravity” a mid-tempo, laid-back, mellow project consisting of stories of heartbreak and trust issues relating to Drops' previous relationships. “Gravity” was released July 1, 2014 and is available for streaming via SoundCloud as well as available for purchase online via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify, Beats Music, Etc.
