“There is nothing like this yet!” – That is how people often react listening to GEIST for the first time. GEIST is a distinctive, powerful voice – between furious wild and soulful emotional – and a punching and energetic sound of hard riffs and melodies, which reminds you of the rock coming from oversea.

Besides several rock releases (“Geist” VÖ 2004, “Für alle Zeit” VÖ 2007, “Feuerengel” VÖ 2011) GEIST extended its musical repertoire now and again with unplugged excursions (“Unplugged” VÖ 2008, “Ohne Worte” VÖ 2013). „One thing does not rule out the other“, sais singer Fares. „But now we wanted to come back to our original sound. And this one is hard!“

With “Ausser Kontrolle” Geist are back in 2016 with new material. A sound – always on the move, always one step forward, full of energy and loud and especially live a special experience.

Geist has its own style. This is up to the very special pathos, that no one else is originating in german language. It is not only rough and epic, but also influenced by striking heads like Tori Amos, living from a voice used as an instrument. With great Vedder-melodies, a Tankanian Vibrato and the guts to anarchy of speech, Geist is fetching all the good at the Rhine, that is worth to keep on. Visions.
