AKA: Nacolbie Jane

About G.L.A.M.

Nacolbie Jane p/k/a G.L.A.M. hails from the West Coast and was born to legendary Oakland emcee parents, Dangerous Dame (Platinum writer for Too $hort) and her dedicated mother, Platinum selling recording artist, Nic Nac. She is the arrival of a new kind of triple threat that signifies that a change has inevitably come to the music game. Her name alone says it all, an acronym for Good Lyrics And Music; A commitment to a level of quality she intends to consistently deliver with every track she releases. Thankfully, G.L.A.M. is here.

G.L.A.M. is a regular rhyme slayer on Team Backpack cyphers and a performance favorite on diverse concert stages and events from SXSW, SoundSet, A3C, Wango Tango, Nike’s 3 on 3 Tournament, Rock the Bells, Oakland Digital and GLAAD Anti_Bullying Spirit Day.
Although it’s early days for G.L.A.M., she has already shared the stage with notable acts like G-Eazy, Nas, J. Cole, Damian Marley and Big Sean. A charismatic and confident live performer, she wowed Sway, A$AP Rocky and Bun B on MTV RapFix Live and impressed super-producer Akon in the Pepsi Smash studio. After her latest performance at the iconic New York venue, SOBs, she was inducted as a new member of the BET Music Matters family, a network-wide initiative that gave Miguel, Melanie Fiona and J. Cole their big breaks. She’s been what’s next for quite some time. Her creativity, talent and persistence are poised to take her to top. Look out for her upcoming indie release The Flaw this summer. It’s a sound we’ve all been waiting for.
