Gwen Renée Stefani, known simply as Gwen Stefani, is an American singer and songwriter, born on October 3, 1969 in Fullerton, California. She started her musical career as the lead singer in the American pop-rock band, No Doubt, in the early ‘90s. The band has achieved major success with their 1995 album Tragic Kingdom, which spawned the hit singles “Just a Girl” and “Don’t Speak”.

In 2004, Stefani released her first solo album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby., which spawned the hit songs “Rich Girl”, “Hollaback Girl”, and “What You Waiting For?”; all three songs went number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and also became the first US music download to sell one million copies.

In 2006, Stefani released her second solo album, The Sweet Escape, which spawned singles “The Sweet Escape” and “Wind It Up”.

In 2016, she released her third solo album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, which became her first solo number-one album to chart on the Billboard 200. The album had hit songs such as, “Make Me Like You” and “Used to Love You”.

On October 6, 2017, she released the title single from her foufth studio album and first Christmas album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, which was released on September 22, 2017. Collaborator on the album included Blake Shelton, which spawned singles “Santa Baby”.
