About Heather Headley

Heather Headley, born October 5, 1974, is a Grammy and Tony award-winning singer and actress. Headley got her start singing in church, and moved on to Broadway, record deals, West End, and TV. Headley has originated iconic Broadway roles such as Nala in The Lion King, and the titular role in Time Rice and Elton John’s Aida. She began her singing career in 2002 with her debut album titled This Is Who I Am, and has recorded and been featured on over 10 albums. Headley has three kids: John, Jordan, and Eliana. She is married to retired New York Jets player Brian Musso.
