JayyVon

Jayy Von Monroe is the stage name of Jeremy Brian Griffis, born on August 17, 1991 in Orlando, Florida. He is best known for being in the electro-pop band Blood On The Dance Floor.

In 2009, Jayy joined the band, replacing former member Garrett. Up until 2016, Jayy stayed as one of the sole members of the band, alongside ex-friend and ex bandmate Dahvie Vanity.

On December 26, 2016, Jayy released a statement on what caused the band to break up, and why he left. Jayy stated the following:

It was just too much work for too little money and after what happened with the last tour and just a general feeling of being taken advantage of by Dahvie for a long time, I left the band. I needed a new life. I couldn’t live in that situation anymore.

In March of 2020, Jayy Von another released another statement on YouTube, explaining why he quit the band, following the allegations against Dahvie.

Since leaving Blood On The Dance Floor, Jayy Von Monroe has embarked on a solo career and has released several singles, including “It’s On You”, “To Burn”, and “Uneasy”.

Jayy is a male-to-female cross-dresser; he has shared very little information about this aspect of his life, revealing only the name of his persona.
