About Nirvana

One of, if not the most, successful act of the early 1990’s grunge movement. Catapulted into the spotlight after hit single “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, the band are credited with bringing Alt Rock to mainstream attention.

Their second, and perhaps most famous album “Nevermind” has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.

The band’s career was cut suddenly short in 1994 when iconic frontman Kurt Cobain committed suicide. Drummer Dave Grohl has since gone on to become a hugely successful frontman in his own right with his band Foo Fighters.
