Sam Andrew Gumbley (born August 4, 1992), known professionally as S-X, is a British singer, songwriter and record producer. As a record producer, Gumbley has worked with high-profile artists such as Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, Future, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, and Nicki Minaj.

The name “S-X” stands for Sam, which is his real name, and the X meaning “whatever” just like a variable. This was explained by the artist on his Instagram live feed on the 2nd of June 2018.

After starting to focus more on his own discovery, Sam started collaborating with British YouTuber and close friends KSI whose music has seen great success around the time S-X started to collaborate with him. Sam’s work with KSI helped greatly grow his success and image as an artist, rather than just a producer.
