Shara Nova (formerly Shara Worden) is a singer who is the only member of My Brightest Diamond. She provided backing vocals for Sufjan Stevens throughout his Illinois and Age of Adz albums.
She was known by her married name, Shara Worden, until 2016 when she had her name legally changed to Shara Nova. This was shortly after getting a divorce from her husband.
