James Adarryl Tapp Jr better known as his stage name “Soulja Slim” was an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Soulja Slim is well known for writing the hit single “Slow Motion” which peaked at the #1 spot on Billboard, staying on the chart for almost 6 ½ months.

November 26th 2003, Soulja Slim was shot four times on the front lawn of his mother and step fathers house.
