About Spider-Man

Spider-Man, Spider-Man,
Does whatever a spider can

The most popular superhero published by Marvel Comics, Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1962. Peter Parker is a high school student being raised by his aunt and uncle in Queens, before a radioactive spider bites him and gives him special powers. Once his uncle is killed by a burglar Peter failed to stop, he realizes that “with great power there must also come great responsibility”, and tries to convey his vigilante career with struggling to make ends meet (usually as a photographer selling Spider-Man pictures to The Daily Bugle, despite the fact that editor J. J. Jameson hates the hero and tries to paint him as a menace). Outside of comics, Spider-Man has appeared in cartoons, videogames, movies and stage plays.
