Tyler Cassidy

Tyler Steven Cassidy is an American music artist from Michigan, most notably known for his comedy rap material released under his Froggy Fresh pseudonym.

On February 5th, 2018, an update posted to the FroggyFreshRap Youtube channel indicated that many of those involved in the project had “grown out of it” or lost interest, hence why Tyler began to release music under his own name.

Throughout 2018 and 2019, Tyler sporadically released new music on his channel, all of which featured no instruments other than the piano. Many of these songs carried Tyler’s signature politically incorrect sense of humor and blatant shock value, such as “Macklemore’s Wife Is a Cunt” and “Every President Is Gay.” However, he also began to release more serious, heartfelt songs, such as “Mama’s Little Boy” and “Girl of My Dreams.”

Out of these releases came his first solo viral hit “Boyfriend”, released September 3rd, 2018, which went viral due to its popularity on social media video app TikTok.
