Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is the current and 46th President of the United States, having held the office since being sworn in on January 20, 2021 after defeating his predecessor Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
Prior to his election to the presidency, Biden had served as the Vice President during Barack Obama’s presidency (2009-2017), and prior to that had served as a U.S. Senator representing Delaware from 1973-2009.
On January 15, 2021, a POTUS account was created for Joe Biden.
