About Wind

The group has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest for Germany three times. The first time was shortly after the formation of the band, in Eurovision 1985. With the song “Für alle” (“For All”) they finished second.
In 1987 Wind returned to the contest, performing “Laß die Sonne in dein Herz” (“Let the Sun in Your Heart”). Once again they achieved a second place. Wind are the only act to ever finish second in the contest on two occasions.
The band is still active, more than 35 years after its foundation.
The group Wind is Andreas Lebbing, Carolin Frölian and Jasmin Kneepkens. Since Wind first came together in 1985 to take part in the “Grand Prix d' Eurovision de la chanson” (today’s Eurovision Song Contest), Wind has stood for positive energy and musical messages for the heart and soul like no other vocal group, especially the evergreen “Lass' die Sonne in dein Herz” (Let the sun into your heart). In their always charming and captivating stage show, the three stakeholders guarantee an exuberant atmosphere and first-class musical entertainment.
