I sure as hell am one, Eminem has been my favorite rapper for as long as i can remember. And more of todays artists need to be more like him in a way because Im tired of hearing rappers brag about they things they have and stuff. Thats annoying. We need rap to be like it was in the 90s. Y'know, when it was at its peak.
Yes, music is moving. and a lot of artists really put a lot of emotions in their music (pain, depression, joy, guilt etc.) And if you can relate to what they are saying that makes the music that much better and music can be very deep. And in this case deep enough to make someone go from wanting to die (“ ‘Til they sit and they cry at night wishin they’d die”) to being calmed down and not wanting to die anymore. (“ 'Til they throw on a rap record and they just sit and they vibe”)
Okay what both of you said is the same thing that the person who has 3 thumbs down said. He does it for the kids who didnt have anything. The ones who are coming up like him. “So they can relate” and maybe end up like him, coming from nothing to being able to have whatever they want. He raps about where he WAS so kids who are in that SAME POSITION can RELATE and hopefully be something great like Em.
Yea but he is saying that the kids hear the rappers talk about guns and either thats the only part they listen to is when the rapper mentions the gun or the rapper doesnt do a good enough job explaining why they have the gun and what its really for. But either way the kids think that its cool to have guns because their favorite rapper or rappers have them but really guns arent cool and can get you in a lot of trouble. And Eminem is saying that they only have them for protection, not just to have them.
And also kids seem to get attached to the “Eminem” type (tho there are none quite the same) but people who are rebels and cause chaos and do whatever kids think thats cool. They’d rather follow someone like him than someone setting the right example.
And the way Rick Ross uses the word tool he is talking about the slang term for a gun. And Pep Boys has a lot of car parts and tools to fix your car. And so he is saying that when it comes to “tools” (guns) he knows them (about them & how to use them) like a Pep Boy worker knows about car tools.
And also he is saying that he doesnt “learn” from other peoples mistakes/close calls he ignores them like they cant happen to him so he is saying that he will still do things that have had a negative, near fatal or fatal effect on people as if they dont. Such as him saying he will still carry guns even though Lil Wayne went to jail for a gun charge. And that he will still smoke weed even though it kills brain cells and messes up your memory and reaction time and stuff. But it is very much about living fast (which usually leads to a young death).
He is saying that she gives him a dirty pic consisting of anything from playing with her self, poorly clothed, or anything pornographic in any way that couldn’t be shown on TV. And she says “Don’t you ever show this” because she is prolly naked in the pic and he is the only one she wants to see her “caught” in her sexy act.
No, not at all. He is saying that she likes to tan and get all pretty and get her tone right and he like to stay inside (and probably watch ESPN if hes anything like Wayne.)
I think he is talking about him being famous and jealous people coming for him intending on no good (robbing, harm, kidnapping, killing etc) sorta like how rappers get robbed for chains and how John Lennon was killed.
