I haven’t looked around the forum for any similar posts so my bad, but what do you do when you master every Eminem song? I guess I’ve gained a tolerance for him. I try to use OF and Jon Connor to treat the withdrawals but they don’t give me the same feeling that a nice Eminem song used to. Any suggestions? thanks

no

Depends… do you consider every Eminem song to be on his big hit studio albums? Cause he’s got EP’s and shit out too.

but what do you do when you master every Eminem song?

You write Eminem some letters

back it up

Even his feature verses?

Even his feature verses?

thank you for the effort you put into that i hope it gets mad thumbs up

You write Eminem some letters

lmao i see u

Try Hopsin. He’s basically the white version of Eminem

You die. RIP in Peace Stan

Have you listened to the first 2 D12 Albums?
The Slim Shady EP?
Straight from the Lab EP?
Infinite
Straight From the Vault EP?
All guest features (i.e. 365 with SKAM, Fuck Off with Kid Rock, Stir Crazy with The Madd Rapper.)

And one of my personal favorite official remixes.

just throwing some stuff out there that the vast majority of Eminem fans don’t know about. Sorry if you have brah.

^ bruh… trust me… it’s not that there’s released eminem that i haven’t heard, i just want to make sure im not missing out on any lesser known artists like him, you know

Try Hopsin. He’s basically the white version of Eminem

that’s exactly what im not* tryna do lol

Listen to his fellow Caucasian peers and be disappointed I guess…

I like Big L a lot, and I’m in the same boat as you when it comes to Eminem. Sorta sure I’ve heard everything he’s done :/

lol its so funny how everyone on here is too cool for em hahaha

Have you looked up every song he’s produced? someone posted this charles hamilton one the other day, I guess Em produced it in ‘07 but Charles didn’t release it til this year. I really don’t like charles as a rapper but the beat is filthy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaVvnG16two

if anyone can name more songs he’s produced for other rappers post them, bc I haven’t heard many

I don’t even think eminem is great in any way at all.

When you “master” every Eminem song? What does that mean. When you “master” listening to his songs?

How the fuck do you “master” listening to a song?

I used to listen to Eminem when I was younger. I was so amazed with what he could come up with. It was unlike anything I’ve heard before.

But then, I grew up and I was like “Psh, I could have come up with THAT!” and the magic was lost. It’s no long unobtainable in my mind.

It’s like going to Disney World as an adult. You see all the machinery behind the rides, and you now know how they all work.

Infinite

You can always repent for having listened to Encore, Relapse, and Recovery more than once.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhXZPcIZ6SM Bro, check out this guy^ His name is Anilyst, next big thing to come out, for sure.

Personally Its not that I think I’m too cool for Eminem, but seriously everyone I grew up with and myself knows everything eminem has done..like thats just who was the popular rapper when I was growing up and in my school. Just sick of him for now i’ll prolly revisit in a few years

just wait for my next album homie and stop sending me letters

I think I’ve yet to listen to one whole Em album in one full sitting

“ You die. RIP in Peace Stan”

Rest In Peave in Peace Stan?

I think I’ve yet to listen to one whole Em album in one full sitting

when i first found the sslp and mmlp i was in the complete opposite situation lol

You can always repent for having listened to Encore, Relapse, and Recovery more than once

did someone you look up to tell you that those albums sucked before you listened to them? is that what’s going on here?

LOL if you say so. Best defense of those worthless albums I’ve ever heard. Nicely done.

Now you listen to rappers who are actually good, and talk about something!

bruh! i got this! i already got D4 on repeat homie!

actually, no. I’m saying Eminem is trash. I’m on the bashing side

But yes someone I looked up to did say that, I then proceeded to wear his clothes and walk like him. So what’s your point?

Spaghetti, you’ll find that most users here are hardcore elitists who don’t listen to anything on the radio or anyone they deem to be ‘mainstream,’ especially if its recent music, to be very bad. Accompanied by several Nas and Kendrick Lamar fans.

Recovery was a pretty good album if you ask me. You gotta think about what the dude went through and feel what he’s saying.

LOL if you say so. Best defense of those worthless albums I’ve ever heard. Nicely done

“defense”….

i just didn’t know that asking a sarcastic question could be viewed as a defense

Seriously I don’t understand this thread because Benmark’s question was never answered.

How the fuck do you “master” listening to a song?

Kid Cudi — so different from Eminem in flow/delivery/beats/etc., but he has the whole Mr. Rager/Scott Mescudi thing going which I feel is very well done and similar to Eminem/Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers personas.

MGK — Cleveland’s Eminem, great flow, some pretty deep songs. Check out Lace Up the album or the Mixtape

Logic — Young Sinatra was one of the best recent mixtapes I’ve seen

Tech N9ne — I think his voice sounds a lot like Eminem’s

Big Sean — Also came out of Detroit. See the mixtape Detroit for proof.

Asher Roth — Nothing like Eminem. Ignore what everyone says.

listen to a new artist

Godfather Don>>>

“bruh! i got this! i already got D4 on repeat homie!”

you’re going down the wrong path brother first Eminem and Lil Wayne???
Tf, Eminem back in the day was raps weird al, if you were born in that era you would have wondered why he was on the radio, he was a joke! He still is just because he has a nice rhyme scheme he gets all the white kids fattys wet. The only thing I’ve ever liked by him was recovery, because he had like two deep songs on that, but all around it was still garbage, you should instead spend your money on skelethon, or control system, albums that you’ll come out 10x smarter after listening to them. ignorant white people treat Eminem, like ignorant black people treat lil wayne, and say he’s the best out, and it’s like the only rapper they’ve heard in the past decade.

@OP

me too :(

Wow, when I posted “Infinte” I meant Illmatic…

@ CeQuenCe

I’ve listened to Control System, it’s a good album, but it still doesn’t match up to MMLP and TES. It’s people like you who fueled Shady’s fire.

You can always go down this list:

Redman
Jay-Z
Tupac
Notorious B.I.G
Andre 3000
Jadakis
Kurupt
Nas

All the MCs, in order, that Eminem said were better than him on “Til I Collapse”

@DetroitLeprechaun I wasn’t comparing it to MMLP I was giving him better artists to listen to, but if we’re on Ab-Soul Long Term 2 >>>>>> MMLP

He said “Reggie”, it’s disputed who he meant. Some say Redman, some say it was someone else who goes by the name Reggie _____ (I forgot the last name)

And I recall that 2 of those guys aren’t very highly esteemed on that list, that it’s more of a personal favorites thing.

Wow, when I posted “Infinte” I meant Illmatic…

blunts=illmatic papers=infinite lmao

Listen to Macadelic while high and you’ll forget that Eminem even exists. Anyways, my favorite album of all time that you should check out

warning tho, these are the opposite of eminem tho, like the shits chilled out as fuck.
