^Pun’s better at it, but RG officially named DOOM number one at this. But he’s not the best rapper though, at least not in my eyes. Number 2 was Cam'Ron. Drinking Saki in the Suzuki, we in Osaka Bay |

Eminem has verses with like 15 syllables for the whole verse he’s rhyming. |

If you think that’s something, you NEED to listen to Born Like This. The ultimate in multisyllabic rhyming. Aesop Rock’s another multisyllabic rapper that many people don’t listen to |

Emcee’s smoke crack! Yo, I love Edan, he’s my favorite white rapper by a fuckin mile but I don’t think he’s THAT great of a multisyllable rapper. I mean, is it even really a contest? eLZhi man. Em’s nice and all but El took what he, Big Pun, Kool G Rap developed and takes it to another level. |

I honestly don’t think DOOM is as good as Eminem or Elzhi or Pun tbh.. “Okay I take my middle finger, flick it to the wickExplained media or: “Although my pen’s pressed to my composition Now I’m not saying Los is the best, I actually think Eminem and Elzhi are more technical but he does deserve to be up there, the above is insane^ |

The thing that sets Eminem’s multies apart and superior from others is the fact that he rhymes them while narrating a story and painting a vivid imagery. Also he hardly uses big nerdy words which are usually easier to rhyme, he instead uses sets of simple words. Now that is something. |

theres no doubt eminem is good at it… I think not talking about his work on MMLP or SSLP is missing his best work though Big Pun is better though… go listen to Twinz, I know everyone points to it but that first verse, damn. Multies are over emphasized though, it’s for people who don’t really know how to formulate or defend opinions so all the sudden everything comes back to multies… Multies are not what make or breaks songs, they are tools used to craft a flow. If you can make a flow you can concentrate less on getting syllables to match exactly up. I know someone will come on start talking about rhyme scheme and all that, yea its important, but music is different from poety. People don’t count syllable when they listen for the most part, not can they really if u got a crazy flow. They aren’t a must like these internet assholes who don’t know jack shit like to preach. |

Shit, have yall heard “Stay Wide Awake”? It’s one of the best examples I can think of. As far as technical brilliance, this song is top 10 of at least the last half decade. If Em isn’t one of the best multi-syllabic rappers ever (which I consider him to be), then he’s definitely up there. |
