Lyricism — damn too hard can’t decide
Flow — doom
Delivery — doom
Metaphors — doom
Production — doom
Subject Matter — nas
StoryTelling — damn too hard can’t decide

both good but mf doom surprises you more. if nas drops an album tomorrow you’ll hear the same stuff you’ve been hearing for a while — which may still very well be good. but mf doom is goat

no one will gain anything from a couple of wise guys coming into a thread and posting the name of whoever they prefer. it’s called a discussion or a reason.

@TedMosby
I agree with everything except I think Nas is the superior storyteller

Emotion: Nas, because of he isn’t as monotone. Even when Doom does really emotional track he comes off as less intense. With Nas you can hear the emotion in his voice clearly
Impact: Nas, for obvious reasons
Longevity: MF Doom, even though Nas is more popular Doom’s discography is full of more solid releases and he has never really faded out with the people who listen to him. Nas on the other hand has faded out a few times with a couple of less than admirable releases
