Which artist have been the 2000s best hitmaker?

I’m not talking about actual good hits, I’m talking just bumpable shit which doesn’t have the be any good.

Which artist do you believe have been the best hitmaker? I immediately think of primarily Ja Rule, Jay-Z, Eminem and Lil Wayne. Em probably had the most and best hits, but I don’t really count him in.

Ja put out a shitload of songs that became hits in the early 2000’s, while Jigger dropped a hit every now and then. Lil Wayne have probably dropped the biggest hits in Lollipop and A Milli, but the other shit were less memorable.

In my opinion it’s between Ja and Wayne, can’t really decide though Lollipop probably my fav.

Kanye West had some bangas

I believe gold digger and all falls down were number one songs of their years.

Eminem. Why he’s the best selling artist of the 2000s and the best selling hip hop artist of all time.

Kayne and Lil Wayne to.

50 cent?

It’s not Ja Rule…don’t let nostalgia fool you. It’s certainly not Wayne as well…don’t let short-sitedness fool you.

If we’re talking internationally its Em by a landslide. In the US its Kanye…from Collo Drollo to 808s every single was a hit.

Since no one will say it, shout out to Ludacris who is prob 4th after Fiddy who is above Em.

Lil Wayne without a doubt.

Seriously like over half of the songs off Tha Carter III (3 Peat, A Milli, Mr. Carter, Got Money, Mrs. Officer, Lollipop, Lollipop Remix, I’m Me, Kush)
Stuntin Like My Daddy
Steady Mobbin
A lot of songs off Da Drought 3
A lot of songs off Dedication 2
A lot of songs off No Ceilings

Plus countless features that made the songs hot.

50 Cent, T-Pain, Nelly, T.I. to begin with. Wayne, Ye, Rihanna, word to Chingy, Justin Timberlake easily, Usher, Beyonce, this shit could go on and on.

From an international point of view (or Danish, if I’m being less arrogant), Eminem wins by a land slide.

July 31st, 2013

Yeah let’s not forget T.I. Had to go to Wikipedia to find some of these but he’s had alot:

Let’s Get Away
Why U Wanna
U Don’t Know Me
Rubberband Man
Bring Em Out
What You Know
Top Back
Live In The Sky
Ride Wit Me
You Know What It Is
Big Things Poppin
Live Your Life
Dead & Gone
Swagga Like Us
Whatever You Like
No Matter What
I’m Back
Go Get It

Nelly’s and 50 Cent’s first albums had more legitimate hits than most rappers entire careers do.
