How does everyone still feel about GKMC?

Soon it’s gonna be the anniversary of the albums release. How are yall feeling about it now? Even though alot of music that I’m a fan has com out since it was released, I still can listen to it straight through. With the exception of Poetic Justice (I kinda fucked with the song at first but radio fucked it up for me) & Sing For Me, Dying of Thirst (Sometimes).

But what do yall think? Do you still love it? Did you get tired of it? Can you listen through it like you used to?

Listened all the way through today on my walks between classes. One of my top 5 favorite albums of all time tbh.

I’m still not tired of it but it doesn’t have the same feeling it did the first time I listened to it.

It’s a masterpiece. Gets better with age. Future classic, like Ryko it’s one of my top 5 albums of all time and I’m pretty sure it’ll stay there.

About one of the 2 albums I actally bought last year. Still worth every cent. Now that we can fully grasp what he’s say and see how far his rise in hip hop has been, it only gets better. Illmatic, The Chronic, Paid in Full, Ready to Die, Enter the Wu-Tang, Doggystyle, The College Dropout, Reasonable Doubt, and now Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City can stands as a landmark debut album in hip hop.

I think GKMC is a better album than section.80, but section.80 never gets old and holds a replay ability that can’t be achieved by GKMC.

I haven’t listened to most of it (Prolly about 3 songs I need to look more into) but the majority of it is pretty well composed. I like it but don’t love it. Maybe in a couple years I’ll love this album more like I do other Hip Hop albums of the 90s

Seriously.. this is a great album I understand why everyone love it , and I do.. but it is far from being a top 5 best album… you guys do not listen to enough music if this is the case.. but in my opinion this is a very good album from this decade, it will be certified classic for sure, For my part.. RADIO and club killed that swimming pool song, I cant listen to it anymore, the rest is nice !
