Has anyone got this free EP that isnt encrypted? was a little late to DL it when it was first annouced and Stones Throw apprentely made it a limited Download :(

Already tried there to no prevail :( Stones Throw have decided to get it taken down from literally every fileshare i have been and checked so far but i eventually found it but it needs a Password to extract the files, if anyone happens to have the Pass would be appreciated.

It’s probably up to Madlib the way Peanut Butter Wolf treats his label, but they’re TERRIBLE at releasing his stuff. Like if you don’t buy that shit immediately they’ll never restock shit unless it vinyl.

I don’t think Stones Throw had anything to do with it. The story is that Madlib apparently had no idea that this was being made into a free download until after Asia & his label dropped it. Asia’s own label pulled it, that’s why it’s not on Bandcamp anymore.

Must suck being a producer sometimes — anyone can do whatever they want with your beats.

Try that link guys, and i didnt actually know it was done without Madlibs consent! that kinda sucks i was basing what i knew off of what i read on a few sites that said it was up for a limited download and then was taken down from the Stones Throw site…

Yo I don’t mean to queer this thread’s averages but when I try to decompress the last track it fucks up. Am I doing something wrong?

Caia im not to sure whats going wrong maybe try and drag and drop it onto your desktop or click on the “Extract To” button and do it to your desired location and are you extracting the folder or each song induvidually?

Maybe if anyone who has used the DL link could tell me if they have had any problems would be grateful as i could sort the problem out for you.

That’s stupid that they took it down, Planet Asia tweeted the free download link out a couple of times on the release day, that’s when I grabbed a copy.

@Guile: Yeah I’ve tried extracting the whole folder as well as doing it track by track. Either way it works perfectly until track 5. If anybody else has this problem and/or a solution, letting me know would be appreciated.

Thats Etherian’s link he originally sent me its track by track downloads so use that it worked for me :)
