Aesop Rock: Labor Days
Pharoahe Monch: Internal Affairs
Immortal Technique: Revolutionary Vol. 2
AZ: Doe or Die
El-P: Fantastic Damage
Elzhi: Elmatic
Brother Ali: Shadows On The Sun
Cage: Hell’s Winter
RA the rugged man: Legendary Classics Vol. 1 (it’s a compilation album but I prefer it over his other projects)

Only going to name the ones I know.

Aesop Rock: Labor Days
Pharoahe Monch: W.A.R.
AZ: Doe Or Die
Elzhi: This is tough. Both Elmatic and The Preface are really good. I guess The Preface because then you won’t be comparing it to Illmatic.

Can´t go wrong with AZ, bt his three classics are Doe ir Die, Pieces of a Man and Aziatic.

  • If you love more the raw, 90s east coast sound you will love Doe or Die most.

  • If you like more flashy beats and catchy hooks, but with great lyricism you´ll love Aziatic the most.
