This will be the most slept on album of the year. It dropped today, and I was blown away. I knew these guys had talent, but this shit is unreal. Best non-Tech N9ne Strange Music album to drop for sure. Don’t sleep on it.

I’m actually gonna order a copy now that I listened to it the full way through. There’s not a single bad track, their sound is very unique, Wrekonize is a dope rapper and singer, plus the features are great. Tech N9ne, Murs, Dead Prez, Krizz Kaliko, Ace Hood, bonus shit with Pharoahe Monch, Stat Que, Del, Reks, ect. Just an overall amazing album.

Yeah Wreckonize is an absolute animal, I met one of them last year, i’m not sure who it was though

Nah Brotha Lynch drops the best non-Tech shit from Strange.

@Ainsley One day ago I would completely agree with you, but Mayday killed shit with this album.

All these new acts Tech has signed are dope as hell, but it seems like just about every artist on Strange, besides Tech, gets horrible promotion. Mayday could be pushing pretty solid numbers with this album if it had the same amount of promotion as All 6’s n 7’s. Same goes for Kutt Calhoun, Krizz Kaliko, Brotha Lynch, Jay Rock, all of Strange could push good numbers with promotion like Tech gets.

@Locc, I bought the album shortly after posting that, and now I completely agree. This is high quality, and the best non-Tech shit Strange has dropped. Plus they gave Klusterfuk for free, which made it worth my $15

After my fith or so listen I realized it’s even more dope than I thought. All the song transitions are prefect; each track just flows into the next. Also, I realized that if you listen their album “Stuck On An Island” “Take Me To Your Leader” goes hand in hand theme wise. It’s kinda sad that this album, just like almost every non-Tech Strange album, didn’t get the propper promotion. Every single track on this album has full potential to be played on any Rap, Alternative Rock, and Pop station, and each track keeps both style and substance. On another note, I would love to hear Wrekonize, by himself, over some traditional hip hop beats. The dude’s an animal. If anyone remembers, he won that rap battle ish the had on MTV on, TRL I believe, and he murdered everyone. Twice. The winner was supposed to get a deal with Rock-a-fella, but they did him dirty and didn’t give him anything. Check out some of his Freestyles, they’re dope as hell.

Wreckonize is extremely talented, and yeah most non-Strange artists get no play except from fans of Strange. I remember Scope(not calling you out or anything, just an example) said in some thread that he’s not too familiar with other Strange artists, just Tech N9ne

I’m going to get into the other artists as well. I listened to this album, and I loved it. I’m excited for future releases.

Each member of Ces Cru, has a solo Mixtape coming out. There album “The Playground” was a very sold album. They have a more traditional hip hop sound with a nice twist. Plus each of them have some dope lines. “I’m on my smart dumb shit, parasailin with Sarah Palin”

I’d give you the link if I could. I downloaded a.zip file of it, which was impossible to find and under a crazy name. This is actually one of the few albums I don’t condone in downloading haha.

By the way, a TNT remix literally just dropped. I thought Dead Prez was the shit on the original, but the remix out did it. It features Black Thought, DJ Khaled, Jay Rock, Jon Connor, and another slept on Stranger Stevie Stone. I’ll post the track with the download link when I get to my computer.

Off topic, but if any of you haven’t gave Ces Cru a listen yet then do so. Strange has a very strong roster which I hope get a buzz eventually. Kutt Calhoun is sick as hell on the mic, and I’m almost certain that when Tech finally decides to chill out, if he ever will, Krizz Kaliko will become the next Tech.

Went to f.y.e and was gonna buy this, but the really nice black dude that worked there, saw it in my hand and was like “YOU CANT HAVE THAT”, laughed, and snatched it away. Did the same thing with the childish gambino cd i had at the checkout lol.

I have about 10 plays on the album now, it’s a really good album. I wanna do a review on it and post it on here but I don’t have the time to write it all. .
