Best lyrical rappers of all time?

Because I was born in Gen Y, I’ve kinda grown up in an era where lyrical rappers havn’t been as prominent as mainstream rappers. I’m getting sick and tired of rappers like Soulja Boy and Lil B. But back to the point, can you guys recommend to me some good lyrical rappers? I don’t mind whether these rappers are new or old, I just want some real good lyrical rappers. Much love fam.

hey sorry for my english i m from georgia country and 14 years old

I really get into the lyrics of the entire Odd Future clique and Ryhme Sayers Entertainment. Brother Ali, in my opinion, has great lyrics over all his tapes. Eyedea’s (R.I.P) lyrical depth also shouldnt be missed. Then there are the ones everyone knows, Notorious BIG, Tupac, Eminem, the list goes on…

Georgia is also a country (formerly part of the USSR) not in the US

Lyrically, you should check out —

Big Pun
Ghostface, Raekwon, pretty much any other Wu member for that matter

@Madd_Dogg no offence I love 2Pac but he was extremely unlyrical.. what made him great was rapping about real things, showing alot of emotion and charisma on the mic.. telling stories. not being lyrical.. just clarifying.. also kanye west, jay z and ice cube are completely unlyrical as well lol

Don’t include Hopsin in your list. He never does anything like the “Six Mintues, Slim Shady”

And for those that hate Stans, this is one time that I can undoubtedly say the Eminem is the best. From line to line, verse to verse, song to song, and album to album, Eminem is the best lyrical rapper of all time

Hopsin is higly lyrical, he has an amazing grip of poly-syllables and uses pretty complex rhyme schemes.. not including him is retarded.. Eminem is more lyrical than him of course though..
But Nah Canibus and Passionate MC are more lyrical than Eminem

There’s really no getting around it. Eminem is the most lyrical. Just because he’s on the radio and popular doesn’t mean you should try to hide the fact that even his radio songs are incredibly lyrical. (Lighters, anyone?) If you want lyrical lyrics that are fun to listen to, listen to Em.

Hopsin has multiple syllables at best for a complex rhyme scheme. Hopsin is not that great

and, not anything to do with lyricism, his subject matter is wack. All he does is bitch about the past and make claims that looks like he can’t back up

And if your going to diss someone, diss your own “weight class”. Sadly (not based of skill, but of popularity) Drake and Wayne are out of your weight class Hopsin. I agree with what your saying, but it’ll never be heard
