@French Rap, Ice Cube left the group and NWA dissed him first on 100 Miles and Runnin and Appetite for Destruction. Ice Cube made Amerikkas Most Wanted with no NWA disses and they fired the first shots. So he responds on Death Certificate

“No Vaseline”, you can say “neutralized” the NWA vs Ice Cube beef. Ice Cube, Ren, and Dre reconciled(even though Ren was still on Ruthless). Eazy was still sour at Dre ergo he was mad at all of them by association but took it out on Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

So in essence, Ice Cube was the one that was supposed to respond and he did and he ended the beef as it shifted to Dre vs Eazy.

If you consider this a diss. Rick Ross stole Murs' beat, and at the beginning of the song says “ I don’t know Murs..” So Murs hit him with this. Don’t think he ever responded.
