Rick Ross is the greatest rapper ever. Triple Beam Dreams comes to mind. I have no idea why everyone on this site is obsessed with hating the whole “money, cars, ho’s” style of rap. Every rapper raps about it. We all want those things. Rick Ross raps about it extremely well. It’s his style. |

Rick Ross is a good rapper, no question. But the greatest ever? You must have lost your damn mind. His lyrical content is ignorant and his whole rap persona is just a gimmick. As for “Money, cars, and ho’s”, it’s the same overplayed crap we hear on the radio. People are looking for something different and more meaningful which is something that Rick Ross doesn’t have to offer. |

I see what you are trying to say. But I must retaliate with this: I am a Rick Ross stan so arguing with me is absolutely pointless. |

Rick Ross is decent. For someone who consistently raps about Money, Cars, Women, Weed etc he is somewhat good at it. The nigga got a Grunt that bitches like. |

His verse on “Ambition” is nice, but “3 Kings?” That’s the verse that made you think he not half-bad? Hmmmm. You'se a funny nikkuh. |

Listen to Mafia Music, honestly one of my favorite songs from him. Also check out Tears of Joy. |

Push It is a good song that isn’t about money, cars and ho’s. He’s got his deep material out there. Just most of the people that hate on him refuse to give him a chance, so they never see. He’s got his materialistic songs, plenty of them. And his romantic/songs for women songs, too. But the dude knows how to make hits — and hits are about money, cars and ho’s (Unless you’re Eminem… or Kanye West). |

In Accident Murderers, he has a nice flow and opening line. Also, his verses on John were pretty decent. |

Tbh, Rick Ross is one of the few rappers who can talk about being overpaid and greedy without it ever getting boring to me. Just dive into his albums, better than individual songs imo. Don’t really bother with Port Of Miami and Trilla. He wasnt good. Deeper Than Rap is where he really turns his career around and started really keeping himself afloat after 50 Cent practically removing him from music with the CO shit. From Ashes To Ashes you’ll see him experiment with a retro sound. Teflon Don is basically him celebrating his career turn around. Rich Forever is pure greed from start to finish. God Forgives, I Don’t is darker than his previous work and the only songs I isn’t love were the love songs (Touch'N You & Diced Pineapples). Notable songs to check out (off the top of my head) Maybach Music series (4 songs), Pirates, Rich Forever, Mafia Music (co-sign Garginator), Valley Of Death (response to 50 if I remember correctly), All The Money In The World (he talks about his father who practically vanished from the face of the earth, like not even Rozay’s birth certificate holds any clues) Triple Beam Dreams, I’m Not A Star, idk just listen to his projects and you’ll find great songs if you wit his material rap. There’s only one Rozay. |

Among rappers whose verses lack content, Rozay’ll make top 5 easy. Also, I’d crown him king of lying-ass rappers any day. But gotta admit his shallow raps are technically superb.. ie flow and delivery wise. |

I keep this on the down low but Port of Miami was like my 5th or 6th rap album ever. I gotta love him just for that. It seemed so amazing at the time…. Yes I got into rap in 2006. shut up. |
