Originally, Wiz was not featured on the song and while all three verses had been filled, he still wanted to be a part of it hence the short bridge.
“And I met your baby moms last night ….. and everything is all right” is from the remix of his song “Fancy” at the end of his last verse, but the difference is instead of “your baby moms” he says “this young girl who had my lyrics tatted on her arm”
To add to this, “molly” can in no way even be used as a “date rape” drug. An interpretation shared by many on this line is that, yes, he put molly in her drink. However, when he took her home and did whatever he did with her, she knew full well what she was doing; she was merely a little more excited than she should have been. The “Took her home and enjoyed that / She ain’t even know it” line means that even though he really liked what she did with him, he did not let her know how much he liked it.
could also be a diss to someone saying “ladies is pimps too”..
after the last hook she sings “I’m wait — I’m waiting / On Wayne” x4
well who better to explain Nas lyrics than Nas himself? thanks!!
Stevie J was also the original person singing the hook in the song, back in July 2012 when Maybach Curtains was leaked with only the intro, Meek’s verse, and the hook
“some say the ex make the sex” is quoting Biggie on “Fucking You Tonight”
Also a play on words, as OutKast is made up of Big Boi and André 3000 (André 3K)
This line is very controversial, because there are two versions of the song: one with Wiz, and one without. The official version has Wiz in it, and Game says “Scooping up Chris.” In the version without Wiz, he says “Scooping up Drake.” Maybe this was to make the song more popular, only Game himself knows..
