I joined this site around February and I have not seen anyone mention this dude. Maybe I missed a thread or something but he is deff top 10 producers of all time and a really dope MC.
What are your thoughts on the guy?

Summer Breeze is my fave song
and well… 2pac’s All Eyez On Me for the producing.

Very overlooked here, where only the most popular West Coast artists are mentioned and East Coast rappers. Top 5 Rapper/Producer imo. He flows, he rhimes crazy and can produce great G-Funk

He should deff get more love. His first album was platinum and his sales are going down but he is still producing really good tracks.

His new LP is dope. Especially that new Ice Cube feature. There needs to me more DJ Quiks

He’s dope, favourite album from him is Safe + Sound, very consistent with his work and he’s not a bad rapper.

Just Lyke Compton is great.

I thought there had been a fair bit of Quik discussion on these boards, especially with G-Funk Week or whatever.

A legend behind the boards and even on the mic, one of the best all-rounders in hip-hop period. He even proved he could adapt to the new generation sounds with The Fixxers.

Saw him live earlier this year, only other rapper I’ve seen who could smoke that much on stage and still kick impressive freestyles is Kurupt.
